Melanie Gordon is a native Nashvillian who discovered her love for Spanish while studying in Costa Rica during college. After college, she received her Masters of Education in Spanish and studied abroad in Spain. As a Rotary Ambassador Scholar, she took post-graduate courses while living in Puerto Rico in 2004. From 2005-2015, Melanie taught high school Spanish at a private school in Brentwood and led groups of students on educational and mission trips to Spanish-speaking countries. Since 2015 she has taught Spanish in a variety of settings to children and adults of all ages. She enjoys playing sports, music, and games, singing, learning languages, traveling, and writing curriculum. She lives in Smyrna with her husband and two daughters.
