Following a brief career in social work, Amy decided to stay at home to raise her family after the birth of her daughter. Years later, her son entered public school and it quickly became apparent that the traditional environment was not appropriate for his needs. Their homeschooling adventure began in 2013 and has proved to be the very best decision! She has taught in many coops, hybrids and tutorials over the years. She is proud to be a part of Fusion and is very passionate about what the program offers to the homeschool community. In her spare time, she enjoys working on their hobby farm, gardening and cooking. Amy lives in Murfreesboro with her husband and son.
