Classically trained, Christa has performed in a wide variety of productions from classical operettas to Rodgers and Hammerstein musicals. She received a minor in Music Performance from Pittsburg State University, all the while perfecting her comedic timing on stage as the lead female vocal performer on a local weekly country music show. Since then, she has served as soprano section leader of the Vine Street Chancel Choir in Nashville and, with her family, has been part of the musical theater world through the Center for the Arts in Murfreesboro where she has starred in shows such as The Music Man and Cinderella. She has written and directed short musicals for elementary aged students and has helped produce and direct performance programs for Shepherd’s Heart Tutorial. Her three talented and eager children are thrilled she’s taking on the role of musical theater director at Fusion!
