Mrs. Christa Brown has taught language arts, writing, and literacy since 2000 in public and homeschools. She is a gifted staff developer, singer, and performer. Driven by her philosophy that writing skills have the power to make an impact on the world, she uses her artistic nature to convey the art of writing to students. This takes center stage as she performs a new writing theme each month to get students excited about writing and expressing their thoughts and emotions. She is also an active member of one of the oldest book clubs in Rutherford County where members discuss writing techniques and strategies by different authors. Her passion for writing has led her to write many nonfiction, fiction, and folktales for teachers to use in their lessons. She earned her B.A. in Education from Pittsburg State University in Pittsburg, KS.
