Once Kim decided to be a teacher at age 12, there was no turning back. She pursued a degree in Multi-age Spanish Education at Cedarville University and spent a summer studying and traveling in Spain. This experience served to broaden her view of the world and resulted in a lifelong desire to learn more about other people and cultures. After graduation, she taught elementary and high school Spanish for several years in public and Christian schools, where she received the Teacher of the Year Award and cultivated her love for educating young people.
Kim has 5 children and has been homeschooling for the last 7 years. She has been a part of several homeschool co-ops and tutorials, teaching and leading clubs, and is thrilled to serve at Fusion in the roles of Co-Headmaster and Educational Coach for several clubs. In her free time, Kim enjoys reading, traveling, crafting, and planning family adventures
