Whitney Heckert

My name is Whitney Heckert. For the past 7 years, I have taught students in 3rd-6th grade both in Rutherford County
and Murfreesboro City Schools. I have two of my own children at home, Maverick & Myles. My husband is a local Physical Therapist & we are proud to call Murfreesboro home.
Math has always been a strength of mine, teaching the engineering and writing process also brings me great joy! I
have experience leading teams of students and teachers through the process of brainstorming, creation, and revision
time and time again and it never gets old.
This past year, I was able to begin teaching & tutoring students out of my home which ignited a passion for working
with smaller groups of students. I could not be more excited to partner with Fusion to help students in this capacity.
